Automation by industry / Restaurants and cafés
AI automation for restaurants and cafés
AI can answer booking and menu questions on your website, Instagram and WhatsApp, draft replies to reviews for you to approve, read supplier invoices and send a daily summary of takings and costs. Your team stays focused on guests, and anything unusual, like a complaint or a large event, comes to you.

Where the time goes
In hospitality, the messages arrive at the worst time. People ask about tables, allergens and opening hours by DM and WhatsApp in the middle of service, and by the time someone replies the table has gone elsewhere.
After close, there are reviews to answer, supplier invoices to check against deliveries, and takings to tally. It is the kind of admin that cuts into the only quiet hours of the day.
What we automate
5 automations for restaurants and cafés

Booking and menu questions
The problem: Messages about tables, allergens, parking and opening times pile up during service when nobody can answer them.
What we build: An assistant answers from your menu, allergen information and policies, and sends people to your booking system or takes the request. Large groups, events and complaints go to a manager.
ExampleSay someone messages on Instagram during Friday service asking if you have a vegan option and a table for four at 8. They get an answer from your menu and a link to book, and nobody leaves the pass.

Review replies
The problem: Reviews on Google and booking sites go unanswered for weeks because nobody has time to write replies.
What we build: New reviews are collected each day and a reply is drafted in your voice. You approve or edit with one tap, and negative reviews are flagged so you can deal with them personally.
ExampleSay five reviews come in over the weekend. On Monday you have five drafted replies to check, and the one-star review is at the top for you to handle yourself.
Supplier invoices and orders
The problem: Invoices from suppliers need checking against what was delivered and logging for costs, usually after a long shift.
What we build: Invoices sent by email or photographed on delivery are read and logged to your accounts or a sheet. Price changes from a supplier are highlighted so you notice them.
ExampleSay your veg supplier quietly raises the price of tomatoes. The invoice is logged and you get a note that the price changed since last week.

Events and group enquiries
The problem: Private dining and group enquiries need a quick reply with menus and deposits, but they often sit in the inbox.
What we build: Event enquiries get a prompt reply with your set menus and questions about date, numbers and budget. The details are summarised for a manager, who confirms and takes the deposit.
ExampleSay someone asks about a 30th birthday dinner for twenty people. They get your group menus and a few questions straight away, and the manager picks it up with all the details in one place.
Daily takings and costs summary
The problem: Working out how the day went means checking the till, the booking system and supplier costs separately.
What we build: Each morning a short summary arrives with covers, takings, average spend and the costs logged the day before.
ExampleSay you want to know whether the new Tuesday set menu is worth keeping. Each Wednesday's summary shows covers and spend against previous Tuesdays.

Questions restaurants and cafés ask us
Will guests notice it is automated?
Replies use your menu, your opening times and your tone, so they read naturally. Anyone who wants to talk to a person is handed over.
Can it get allergen information wrong?
It only answers from information you provide and approve. If a question is not covered, it passes it to your team rather than guessing.
Does it work with my booking system and till?
Many do, and the ones that do not can often still be linked through email or exports. We check in the free audit.
What does it cost?
You get a fixed quote after a free 30-minute audit, focused on the task that takes the most time away from guests.
