AI automation for healthcare providers
AI can handle appointment requests, send reminders that cut down on no-shows, answer routine questions about timings, prices and preparation, let patients know when their report is ready, and prepare insurance and claims paperwork for staff to check. It never gives medical advice: clinical questions always go to your staff, and how patient data is handled is agreed with you before anything is built.

Where the time goes
Whether it is a clinic, a practice, a diagnostics lab or a small hospital, the front desk is a juggling act. The phone rings with booking requests, reschedules and questions about fasting or parking, while patients wait in front of you. Missed calls often mean missed appointments.
Then there is the paperwork: forms retyped into the patient system, patients ringing to ask if their report is ready, and insurance claims that need the right documents attached before they can be sent. Clinicians and staff end up doing admin that takes time away from patients.
What we automate
5 automations for healthcare

Appointment and test bookings
The problem: Patients who cannot get through on the phone often give up or go elsewhere, and reschedules take up reception time.
What we build: Patients can request, move or cancel an appointment or test by web chat, WhatsApp or text, and are offered free slots from your diary. Anything urgent or clinical is passed straight to your team with a clear note.
ExampleSay a patient messages at 7am to move their physio session. They pick a new time from the open slots and reception sees the change when they log in.
Reminders, no-shows and waiting-list refills
The problem: No-shows leave empty slots, and calling the waiting list to fill them is rarely possible on a busy day.
What we build: Patients get reminders before their appointment, with preparation instructions you have approved and an easy way to confirm or cancel. When someone cancels, people on the waiting list are offered the slot in order until it is taken.
ExampleSay a 3pm scan is cancelled that morning. The first patient on the waiting list gets a message offering it, and the diary updates when they accept.

Answers to routine patient questions
The problem: Staff answer the same questions about opening times, prices, parking and how to prepare for a test many times a day.
What we build: An assistant answers only from information you have written and approved. It does not give medical advice, and any question about symptoms, results or treatment choices goes to your staff.
ExampleSay someone asks whether they can eat before a blood test. If you have approved an answer, they get it; if not, the question is passed to a nurse to reply.

Report-ready notifications
The problem: Patients ring to ask whether their test report is ready, and staff stop what they are doing to look it up.
What we build: When a report has been signed off by your clinician or pathologist, the patient gets a message that it is ready, with a secure way to collect it as you choose. The automation does not interpret results, and reports flagged for a doctor's call are held back until that call has happened.
ExampleSay a lab finishes forty reports by early afternoon. Once each one is signed off, the patient gets a message with the collection link, and the phone rings far less.
Insurance and claims paperwork
The problem: Claims and insurer approvals need forms filled in from the patient record and the right documents attached, and missing items lead to rejections and delays.
What we build: A draft claim or pre-approval request is prepared from the visit details, with a checklist of the documents each insurer needs. Anything missing is listed, and a staff member checks and submits it. A weekly list shows claims waiting, queried or unpaid.
ExampleSay a day-care procedure is booked for a patient with insurance. The pre-approval form is drafted with the patient's details and the missing referral letter is flagged before the patient arrives.

FAQ
Questions healthcare ask us
How is patient data handled?
We agree up front what data the automation can see, where it is stored and who can access it, and we work within your existing data protection policies. Sensitive clinical data can be kept out of the AI step entirely.
Will it ever give medical advice or explain results?
No. It answers only from information you approve, and anything about symptoms, results or treatment goes to your clinicians. Reports go out only after your staff have signed them off.
Does it work with our practice or lab system?
Many booking, practice and lab systems can be connected or linked through calendars, email and exports. We check yours during the free audit before promising anything.
What does it cost?
You get a fixed quote after a free 30-minute audit, once we know which part of the admin is worth automating first.
